Ordering Information
You can add your desired items to your shopping cart. Currently, Doug's Bears shopping cart system is handled by SecurePay or by PayPal. Once you add your bear to the cart, you can choose to pay via credit card (VISA or MasterCard) or choose to pay by PayPal.
You can also order by just sending an email, and listing the items you are interested in purchasing. We will reply to your request usually within 1-2 hours (9:00AM-7:00PM, all days except when we're out adopting bears), stating if the articles are in stock or must be ordered. Items featured on the web site are almost always in inventory, ready for immediate shipment.
You can also call us for direct service.
Pre-Order/Layaway Information
Pre-Orders/Layaways require a 20% down payment of the total order. This down payment is non-refundable in case the order is altered or cancelled. Down payments can be made by Personal Check, Money Order, PayPal or Credit Card. We accept VISA and Master Card.
Layaways: 20% down followed by no more than 4 more equal payments.
Pricing Information
All prices on the web do not include any shipping charges, unless it says that shipping is included. California residents need to add 9.5% sales tax to the applicable sales prices.

Doug’s Bears prefers payments by Credit Card. PayPal, Money Orders or Personal Checks are also accepted.
Shipping Information
Doug’s Bears ships to all over the world. We offer shipping by USPS parcel post or Priority Mail and FedEx ground home delivery. Shipping and Handling will be charged according to actual cost. Order is shipped as soon as full payment is received.
Return & Refund Policy
Doug’s Bears will accept returns under following conditions:
The goods are returned in their original condition in the original packaging with all tags and paperwork within 2 weeks after shipment has been sent out by Doug’s Bears.
Goods attached to boxes by plastic ribbons or other material need to be returned in the same state they were shipped, e.g. attached to the box with original materials. Goods in sealed transparent Steiff plastic bags need to be returned in the original sealed bag.
Buyer pays the shipping cost for the shipment back to Doug’s Bears.
For returned items Doug’s Bears will make following refund by check:
The purchase price minus Doug’s Bears's shipping cost minus any incurred financial transaction fees (credit card fees, PayPal fees, etc.)
Goods especially ordered for customers or which are purchased from Doug's Den, e.g. items that were not in stock or were purchased from other collectors, are excluded from this Return and Refund Policy and therefore cannot be returned.
